Received this number as a so called promotion winner. Is it a scam

Claimed to be surveying recent visit to Yorkshire bank. I asked what date was the visit. I had not been to the bank on that date I assume this to be a scam.

Vanquis Bank are sneaky and use lots of different telephone numbers to trick you into answering. For your convenience, I have listed many of the telephone numbers that they use below. If you answer calls from these numbers you may be charged for Debt Management so buy a BT8500 and stop all of these calls easily. Very suspicious. Claim to be a service stopping nuisance calls. Ask to confirm all sorts of information, staring with public stuff (address, telephone) progressing to private stuff like expiry date of credit card!

Keep calling to speak to my husband, firstly about his pension and then about payment protection insurance. Told them not to call but they keep ringing. Foreign sounding callers and lots of background noise.

These people repeatedly call phishing for information stating that they are calling about a car accident. Maybe some poor souls they call talk about an accident they may/ may not have had and pass on personal details. It appears to be a scam and the only way to avoid them calling is to block their number. They called my number >10 times over past 6 months and have never taken it off their system. FYI I was never in a car accident.
