They failed 2 leave a message on my answer machine.In the past I was trusting/stupid enough 2 believe the great deal offered by the BT sales man. Seems to be used for some telemarketing call center - this range of numbers 14138002xx (common feature, they use more numbers of the same range) is mostly reported with telemarketing calls - Scottish Power, debts and loans... Just block it if not interested (I use the app from these pages, no problems). Folks did they call you with the same or something new?
Operator said they calling about my online banking enquiry without stating who they are. I told them I have made no enquiry. Then operator just hung up on me.

SCAM This number called me saying they were Sky Broadband and said that other people were trying to hack into my broadband. To stop this they needed details of all the devices I had currently connected to my broadband. At this point I ended the call and phoned Sky for myself. They told me that nobody had phoned me from Sky, there were no problems with my broadband and that the company who called me were trying to get details of my devices so they could hack them for bank details etc.
