I don t usually answer calls for which the number is not saved in my contacts list but it came up as being in Dursley. I assumed it to be urgent as we have close friends in Dursley. They said they were from Alliance Solutions so I hung up.
Had a missed call from this number - I'm in the 01684 code area so thought it was a genuine local call and called back. Recorded message saying "thank you for calling...
SCAM Today at 1.15 - Christine from ESE re solar panels. Googled and rang back on number on their website. 08000472985 and got same Christine. As on TPS they shouldn't have called. Just made a complaint on the ICO website. Do the same if you get a call from them as if enough then the company can get fined.
Foreign man said he was from BT and I my internet connection has been hacked. Asked me to turn on my computer and all my problems would be solved!! Doubt that very much, said no thanks and hung up.
