Scam caller. Automated message telling me that my ISP are cutting off my broadband due to illegal activity. Press 1 to continue. Then goes through to an operator who broke off the call when challenged to outline what illegal activity. Repeat called 4 times over a period of 2 days (so far!)

Called at 1210hrs. Male with office sounds in background. He spoke with an Indian sub-continent accent. Said his name was Simon and was calling to make me debt free. I asked him the time where he was. He asked "Why". I said if he did not answer the question I would hang up. I hung up.
I believe i am being blackmailed by the owner of this number.
Just a very simple incoming call. I answered within 1 ring and it goes dead. You ring back and it cuts you off. Dont answer in future I guess and block the number.
SCAM We have been repeated called by person(s) owning this number. However on calling back... system advises ... number unknown. This again like many other numbers received today is possibly a 'scam' call.. which has since been blocked on our system. It is an annoyance and as such anyone receiving a call from this number or numbers of similar format should advise both your supplier (scam callsphising) and also the ICO. This hopefully will get those in charge to consider modifying calling arrangemen
