Fraud Introduced himself as my energy advisor from Southern Electric. I asked him for my account number, he hung up. Looking at the other reports it's a scam. In breach of both ex directory and Telephone Preference Service.

These are chancers calling about a so called car accident I never had. Annoyingly they said they obtained my number from a quotes site and did know my name. Never been in an accident for a decade so I didn't declare anything.

Scottish Power marketing call

There were no less than five calls from this number while I was out. I did not need to be told it was the criminals pestering me again as I have had so many of them. However it was confirmed next day when a call came from a slightly different number, 01614357985. Other sites informed me a large number of people had been called similarly. Said he was calling from a company called molten and brown (not sure if Molton is correct but, something similar) Said he'd been passed my information because someone in the family have had an all inclusive holiday in the last 2 years. Said "wished I had but, no" He just said okay we'll get that information corrected and that was that. Strange.

Automated call in best BBC English telling me that my national insurance number is about to be suspended because of a number of illegal actions and offences involving it. Then instructed me that I MUST press one to speak to an officer. Quite clearly a scam and I put the phone down at this point.

The person who had my mobile number before me was in debt. This debt has now been passed on to Lowell who continue to ring me on an almost daily basis from various numbers. There is never a human on the other end, always a recorded message, so I can't tell them that they have the wrong number.

This number must be part of the range of numbers dedicated to the same call centre - I can see more similar numbers of the same range 12544731xx reported already, mostly with insurance marketing. In the case of this number they left no message, no idea who is behind it? People please did someone answer it? I really don't answer unknown numbers and don't want to call them back, trying to dig some info about this number on internet first...
