Called to tell me I could win this alarm system and proceeded to ask for personal details. When asked how they got my number, they said from a database. I said I was listed on TPS database and was not checking this before making calls. I have been contacted by them before. They are very polite, however!

this number keeps ringing me even though ive blocked it. if the scam is to get you to ring them back at a high rate, simply send them a text message instead. I sent f**k off you parasites its about time these companies were stopped.
I think it was a scam number left no message and the number doeasnt seem to belong to any company I deal with and is in the Torquay area and i dont know anyone in the area!

This is British Gas I just had boiler serviced. I have answered the call but they keep calling, they call to try to con you into having a new boiler installed. It now needs answering again to let them know you are just going through the channels to report them and they can get fined. They soon draw in their horns , we did do this 2 years ago after having the same problem. We got compensation and out data was wiped at the time from their computers.
