Two unsolicited phone calls on the same day, second operator acknowledged I had been contacted by his colleague but no apology for the intrusion. This was not the end of it, a further two phone calls the following day, the answer phone is now permanently on, enough. I have had no contact with this company nor will I.

Indian scammers posing as BT tech support. Ask them for your address. If they really were from BT they would know it They will say your computer showed up on their server as being hacked. If that was really the case then why don't they have your address? Ask them for your IP address as the only way your "computer" could show up on a BT server is with an IP address (except BT don't monitor for this sort of thing and wouldn't phone you up about it).
