Woken up by a call from this number at 7.33am. No message left so clearly a scam caller. These intrusive and annoying sorts of calls are occurring with increasing frequency. I suspect that this was another coming from abroad but disguised to look like a UK number. The sooner such calls are stopped by telephone providers the better.

Called wanting to acces my wifi - scam as not using wifi with BT on the number they called on. then got aggressive.
Rang my mobile briefly and then stopped. No message left. Probably trying to tempt me into calling them back. An unknown number and unsolicited. I ve recently had calls of this type daily around the same time and they re always from telemarketers or accident claims hawkers, so draw your own conclusions about this one. Picked up the receiver, silence for a few seconds, then a female voice with a northern accent said 'I've found the dog a new home' then put the phone down. Strange.

This number was given as a supervisor number for a BT employee. This is not a number associated with BT and is part of a scam. Spoken with BT and they do not have this number as one of their numbers and would not give out numbers anyway. This has been confirmed as part of a scam.
