Its time we all stood up to these type of calls they are rude and should be closed down by the the service providers. Its distracting and takes up valid time from work, my company is making provision to remove all private mobile devices from work.
Claimed to have been informed that I had been in "an accident that wasn't my fault".
They called, I answered, then nothing, seems to be some kind of automated called, probably to add you to a scam list later
How can these tw%ts obtain & use my ex directory/TPS registered details?! When never have or will do any business on phone or by e mail?! Received a call offering a free tablet, declined as I did not believe they were calling from Vodafone themselves, and hung up. Then received a seemingly automated text message from Vodafone advising the call was genuine, but the grammar in the text was poor - "infact", "you wasn t sure", "removed you from our list of customer" - so I can t be sure if it is genuine. Surely a big company like that would check something so simple?

Appears to be operating in the UK, English accent. Claims to be from an energy supplier from 'your area' however they are cold calling and know nothing about you. They will hang up quickly as soon as you query further, they will ask for personal details. Believe they are trying to sell loft insulation / boilers unsolicited however be careful they are also likely putting you out of pocket and potentially a SCAM.
