I was left a message that my apple account had a suspicious login and is now discontinued. It said to click on the link to resolve the issue, which I didn’t. Instead I went to my account and got in fine- not discontinued.
Some one called on my partner's mobile phone - a number that she shares very rarely if not at all. Toby, the caller, announced that my partner had won the lottery, to which she responded, "Oh, really? Do you want my banking details?" At which point 'Toby' hung up. It is interesting to note that we are currently job-hunting and one of the people that responded to that, on my partner's email, goes by the same name, representing am employment agency. Far Eastern accent, and as soon as I asked him to repeat who he said he was calling from, he hung up. I dialled the number with the prefix 141, but it did not ring out. Clearly a SCAM. Unusually for me, I then dialled the number without the prefix, and that also did not ring at all, even thoigh I had checked that my line was open. AVOID
this number was used to tell me I had been in contact with the latest variant, when checking with those people, they were unaware !!

Scam caller, left a disturbing sigh on the phone message. People that use their phones for these things should be interviewed by the police and an address provided for the phone number where its registered to.
