This number called me 3 times this morning so on the third attempt I answered to try to find out whether it was someone who had a genuine reason to call me (as the number is not in my local calling area). When I did answer, I heard the click of being connected to a call centre and then a male voice saying he was calling from my "internet provider" and vague comments about problems so I simply hung up.

everytime I ask them to give me the company name they hang up, number shows as a London area code but when you call back it s dead? using IP phones with local area codes for the UK, going by their accents I would say most probably coming from India. Do NOT tell them anything about yourself, as they ll only sell it on to another dodgy bunch who will keep up the harassment.

Don t Fool me. This is the microsoft scam and I told the Indian bloke that I knew what the call was about.

Recorded voice saying £600 payment on my debit card from abroad. The usual gibberish press one if this is okay, press two if this was not authorised by me. BEWARE please and hang up.
