Definitely not British Gas. Very out of date information, no idea what name was on the account, could only give us details on our closed account from years ago, and tried to say our contact was up very soon (it's not)

The chap called me and said he had a missed call from me to his mobile number. I have not called anyone today. So no clue who he was or what company he was from.

Pretending to be my child (i don’t have any), scammer trying to get money
Call center - asked a variety of questions including the brand of my washing machine and my contents insurance provider, but did not request any personal information.
