Claimed I'd lose 40% on my life insurance policy for 'your mortgage'. When asked which company, they just reeled off a list and said they couldn't be more specific because of data protection. Wouldn't give details, wouldn't put the offer in writing, so I hung up.
Another typical 'we are calling about the accident you have been involved in over the past 3 years' I answered my wife's mobile - told them she had not had any accidents. They then asked if I had been in any myself and tried to fish for personal info. How do these people even get our phone number?
