Automated call, when I answered it simply said 'Goodbye' and rang off. I'm guessing that no call centre operative was available at that moment to handle a call made by automated software. Or it noticed a TPS opt out.

Claimed to be car phone warehouse calling "on behalf of my network" and that "they had permission from them". Highly unlikely. Marketing/spam attempt. The person got stroppy and continually talked over me when I tried to ask why they had my number. Very unprofessional, even if legitimate. Avoid.
Cnuts rang my mobile at 06.25 on Saturday morning. Didn't answer but it disturbed my sleep. Presumably just another filthy foreign scammer hoping I'll ring their premium number.
