IT'S A DANGEROUS SCAM! A computer is dialling numbers in sequence to sniff out voice lines. If you speak then the line is detected as 'an active voice line' and logged as such, a scammer will then be calling you later! If you don't recognize the number calling DON'T SPEAK, JUST LISTEN! If you don't hear a voice and then the line goes dead then congratulations - you have just successfully escaped being scammed! THESE CALLS ARE HARASSING AND ALWAYS POTENTIALLY DANGEROUS!

SCAM PLEASE DO NOT FALL FOR THIS!!! The caller said his name was Terrence from Frank Gallo solicitors he then gave me the website his 5 digit employee number and then also gave me a 5 digit reference number. He said I had been miss-sold loans he said about 10 different companies which raised a flag, he said I was due compensation and they would claim the money from me. He then wanted me to confirm my debts, when I said I have had many loans and can't confirm anything he asked if I had clearscore which I
It says this is Clearanswer, a marketing company and one of BTs partners.....comments from the general public seem to suggest otherwise. A very foreign voice suggested my BT contract was coming to an end. I don’t discuss new contracts with a cold caller. When I said it wasn’t due to be renegotiated she hung up...not the sort of thing a genuine person would do.
