SCAM received an automated call saying an arrest warrant has been issued for tax evasion and press 1 to stop it. I hung up straight away. HMRC would never call like this.

SCAM / SPAM Said they was BT ( very strong Indian accent) I could hear it was a call centre from the noise in the background. He told me that I was having problems with my broadband and that it kept dropping speed ..when I told them no it wasn’t it’s fine he hung up on me

Phone rings, answer saying hello but no response but can tell caller still on line. After repeating hello several times and still no response I just hang up.

The caller said they were from BT Openreach, and had information from my router that indicated my internet wasn't performing as well as it should be. I was asked a couple of questions about what devices I had connected to the router, and was then asked if I was in front of my personal device. When they then asked me to log onto my personal device, I decided that this may not be legitimate and hung up. The background noise was very loud, as if from a call centre.
