Gave him false sort code and account number to see where this was going. He asked me to "confirm" my date of birth also gave him a false date, he missed the fact it was April Fool's day. This is my house telephone number in Oswestry Shropshire. A 90 year old lady in some distress phoned me on this number today to ask why I had been contacting her. She told me she lives in Eastbourne and had been contacted from a number purporting to be from this one asking for finacial information. I explained I had not phoned her but it was probably a phishing scam and suggested she blocked it. I feel I needed to report this scam and this number on her behalf. Scum does not adequately label these people.

Recieved call from this number on my work phone. I am a building manager located in Auckland, New Zealand and have nothing to do with the locality it is based in. Going by past experience calls to my work phone from overseas numbers are always scams, didn't answer and having looked on this website it appears I was correct.

No idea which company, or who is behind it. missed 2 calls so far when ringing back it will answer with an american text to speech voice and play music while it connects you to whoever. waited and waited and then the phone hung up automatically. Unsure if this is a scam or just a neauseunce.

Possible SCAM/SPAM? Asked for a man who I regularly get phone calls for (we must have a similar phone number). Talking about a potential claim for reimbursement following car finance taken out 10-12 years ago. Didn't feel right as I said I did not know the person they were after and they went on to give me what felt like fairly personal information. The man in question seems to be wanted by a lot of solicitors - maybe he's a wrongun - and that phonecall was a front to get access to him?

Call center SPAM Said his name was Alex, however he had a very strong Indian accent. He said that he was phoning from British Gas!? It was about boiler cover, house hold cover for both gas and electric. Asked a couple of questions.
