Had a missed call yesterday. Blocked it now.
Wiltshire farm foods based at Rossendale. Follow up call after a delivery. Not spam or hoax call.
Fraud
Sales call most likely. Obviously a call centre caller. reading from a scriopt. Told me about package put together for solar panels in my area but couldn't tell me what area I was in, just kept repeating that I should raise any issues with call back representative. I put the phone down.
Scam call
SCAM Caller claimed to be called Moses Rufus (definitely a false name as he had to think about it when asked his name) asking to know the where in the process in terms of planning applications my company were with various construction projects. When told I'd need to gather the info and get back to him, he wouldn't give an email address just this number. Suspicions raised after the call I called the number back, it rings twice and cuts off. Unknown, they put the phone down when I answered
recorded message meant to be from Amazon. Pretending I have an odd expense on my account and to press button 1 to clarify. I don't have an Amazon account.
Recorded message - Caller reckoned that were two suspicious transactions on my accountOne from Amazon and one an overseas payment.
I have been called 7 times from this number over the last 2 days. There has been no-one speaking on any call. I tried calling them but got a recorded message - some insurance company. A real nuisance!
Fraud
SPAM called today, came up as suspected spam on my mobile so I left it to go to voicemail, no message left. Suspect the warning was on the money.

Call center SPAM Said his name was Alex, however he had a very strong Indian accent. He said that he was phoning from British Gas!? It was about boiler cover, house hold cover for both gas and electric. Asked a couple of questions. He said that he was calling from London, when I asked him what the weather was like in India, and it would be set up today! When I challenged him again, and told him that he was calling from abroad, and at that point he hung up on me. This just confirms my suspension tha
