This appears to be a company fishing for accident claims. When I called the number back they spoke about an RTA that I supposedly had in 2014 which they got from the "accident database". I've had no such incident. So it seems they trawl the accident database to make unsolicited calls in the hope of making money out of your misery.

They cold called me, a 73 year old, asking if I d considered funeral planning and paying for my funeral in advance. I found this very distressing. How did they get my number? Why are they harassing the elderly with calls like this. They should be taken to court and banned.

Rated 4 because I suspect Amy at Sun Life was genuine in saying that I had told a survey I wanted a call. I recall a week ago "Jack", an Indian at Future Trades from a withheld number a week ago to whom I stated in no uncertain terms I wasn t interested and did not want to receive further calls. They obviously tick all boxes regardless and pass the data on. Amy is now also aware of the penalties Sun Life is likely to incur from ringing a TPS registered number. Watch this space ...
