This number rang me and was answered by my grandson who told me it was from someone saying they were from Immigration. This is funny but also annoying as I was born in UK and have never had any links to immigration. Not the first time had this type of call.

SCAM Woman with foreign accent called from noisy call centre/scam centre claiming to be from the FCA and insisting I have Bitcoin in an account I supposedly was gifted when registering an account with a cryptocurrency trading platform. I forget the name but I do know I've never traded crypto or registered on such sites. Put the phone down on her and she hasn't called back. Besides, if this were FCA I'd receive an official email or correspondence and certainly not from a Mobile phone number.

SCAM. Legit No. Obviously spoofed and being used by a bank scammer. Call opens with the 'Your account has been debited £X thousand' gambit. THE LEGITIMATE OWNER OF THE PHONE NUMBER IS NOT INVOLVED IN SCAMMING.
Phone upgrades for o2?!, though my contract does not end for another two years. Stevenage area code. I said no thanks and hung them up, rang me again today, so potentially spam.
