HMRC phishing scam call! My mobile phone rang at 09:36 hrs 05/02/2021 and when I answered it, I heard a male computerised sounding voice, which was an automated message. The ‘voice’ said something along the lines of, “This is a message from Her Majesty’s Revenue and Customs. You have been identified as committing fraud on your tax account. A warrant has been issued for your arrest…” I did not listen to the rest of the message and I hung up.
Call looks like a normal YK mobile number but in search it indicates that the number originates in Ahmedabad in India. As I don t know anyone from or in India I can only assume that it is a call from some call centre or a scam or perhaps both. Treat with suspicion.

I had a missed call from this number but didn't answer as I don't know who it is and due to my learning disability I trifle on the phone and become very nervous, I also can't hear very well so I sometimes leave it to go to voicemail so I can have it play louder than it would on loud speaker in call but they didn't leave a voicemail any help would be great
