TAXES / HMRC - recorded message saying have hmrc tax fraud lodged against my name and to press 1 to be put through to officer assigned to my case. Didn't bother as had similar last year regarding supposed unpaid tax which freaked me out and I fell for it but eventually ignored the 2nd call. Have now blocked number. Glasgow area
Unable to answer call when it came in. Rang the number back later, only to hear a message saying "number not in use". Would like to know how they got my number as I am ex-directory! Have not tried to contact any "green solutions" company as I don t even own my property. Extremely frustrating

Scam. Automated message stating that £600 had been taken from a Visa or Mastercard in the last 15 minutes. Press 1 to continue. Pressed 1 to get another automated message to be told I was being transferred. Transferred through to what was obviously a call centre. I only did it out of curiosity as I knew it was a scam. Buy Bt 8500 this phone has true call only numbers in your contact list ring your , phone. Since buying this phone I have had no, Zero rubbish calls. The phone lists the numbers that have tried to get through but if they are not in your contact list your phone won t ring. Brilliant. A well spent £40 or £49 for two handsets. This is not an advert it really works.
