Wittering on about saving on electricity bills. Sounded like an Indian call centre.
They are a scam but 10 times worse they make out they are from some body good like The Times News do not talk with them
Indian accent and claimed to be from the telephone preference service requiring confirmation of my credit card expiry date to renew the service. I told her she was a scammer and terminated the call.

Telemarketer, calling a number that is already on the TPS. Caller wouldn't be straight with me about what he wanted, other for me to give him my full details. AVOID!!!
SCAM Text message claims to be from Royal Mail (my provider has helpfully marked it as SPAM) and the message wants me to go to uk-service-fees.com to pay £2.00 shipping fee. Royal Mail struggling to afford their own website.... bless these scammers.
Accident claim scam line
Called and said was caling from "Department of Budget and Analysis" when i asked from which company, i was hung up on. American sounding lady.
Automatic - silent call
Amazon scam stating money will come out of your bank then asking you to press one or two
Fraud - Indian woman saying she was from Sky and had detected problems on our broadband with slow speed. Asked what lights were on the router and if I had noticed slow speeds. Said "usual lights and no drop in speed". She hung up!
