I believe it is a scam. I blocked it as a nuisance call which I can only do on my landline. It kept ringing me every 15 minutes. No answer when I managed to pick up the call.

I rang back and they all have had an answering machine with the same female voice putting me in a queue and at no point saying who they are. Man with strong Asian accent claimed to be from Vodaphone Pretty sure that was not true. I hung up both times.
Call claimed to be from Vodafone retentions department promising me a 40% discount, asked me a bunch of security questions and then asked me to read him the code from a password reset email that he had triggered on my Vodafone account. This apparently would enable him to send me the priority app so I could access 5G calls and VIP features. Alarm bells at this point. I said I'd call him back then checked with Vodafone. They confirmed that this is not a number they use and not to give out any information. SC
