Appears to be an Evri phishing scam
SCAM ...said he was from O2 wanting me to upgrade phone and contract. Put me on to female supervisor when I said no! Said she would text me a code to prove who she was... I just watched the scam baiters on YouTube and this is just what the scammers do. Do not fall for it. Contact the company yourself if you want to upgrade!

I am getting several calls a day from this company. I keep telling them to remove my number but an hour later I get another call and they insist they have not called me before !! What do you have to do to stop these people. I have tried being rude (not offensive - just rude), putting the phone down on them, threatening to report them, but all to no avail. I love it when they say they are "Fred" or "Mary" or similar, and you know that they are not.

I received a text, supposedly from HSBC, advising me that a "payment was attempted to a new payee" and including the following link: https://hs-mobilebanking-paymentsupport.com/hsbc/login The link page it directs you to looks the same as the genuine HSBC login page BUT it is a hoax - DO NOT USE THIS WEBPAGE TO ACCESS YOUR ACCOUNT. As I said, it looks good but the give-away is the fact that the links on the page do not work.
