Automated recording saying "important information" at which point you should hang up. Disgraceful telemarketing companies can hide behind a mobil number pretending to be a genuine call.
Wanted to access my computer s Event Viewer to tell me that I had thousands of errors & warnings. I strung him along for a while to waste his time and then terminated the call.

Called me today, knew my name and post code and asked me if my hot point washing was working. I knew he was scamming but he did have quite a lot of information - where do they get it all from? Not very happy, I received a similar call a month or so ago, so what comes next?

SCAM Received a text pretending to be one of my children who had a new phone. Asked to save their number but had to pay urgent bill but banking not working on new phone. Could I pay for them and they would pay me back. Needed to be paid urgently. Didn't appreciate my comment thanking him for his bank details which I would now send on to the police. Signed A Abana. Rang me constantly over a few weeks now, but checked on here and blocked number, but showed today they ve rang me 5 times, f*cking nuisance is an understatement.
