Foreign sounding pre-recorded message about a substantial VISA debitcard transaction. Obvious scam - messages from banks, etc do not usually start "Dear Customer". Use of an apparently local number is clearly an attempt to give it some credibility.
TAXES / HMRC Threatening hoax call saying they were from the inland revenue and that there was a problem with national insurance contributions.

SCAM They're posing as EVRI, a delivery company. The text message I received asked me to "pay a delivery fee" or my parcel will be returned. In the text message they use a shortened URL link, which is a common tactic for scammers. They can redirect your data by using this shortened link, and gain access to your data such as your IP address. Do NOT open the link, block the number, and report it to any sites like this one. Safe number. This is an automated feedback call from British Gas. I had just cancelled my Boiler cover with BG due to the outrageous renewal charge and I recieved this call a little later. Basically five questions about rating British Gas. They never got a very good one from me, practically doubled the renweal quote and when i called to see if I could negotiate a cheaper deal it went even higher!
Told me that I had large amounts coming out today, a simple check proved a scam
