Seemingly friendly man called from "crime prevention services", saying that rogue traders had been a problem in the area. Apparently they have some sort of booklet where they name and shame rogue traders, but of course they also advertise genuine businesses. I told them I wasn t interested since I ve never seen any such magazine and couldn t see the value. Suspect it s a scam.

Various false reasons given for why they are calling - eg:- Getting refunds on previously bought timeshare weeks. Will modify story depending on your response to arrive at a point where they can extract your money. Avoid like the plague.
