Told me that I had bought an iphone and they would deduct money from my account. SCAM!
Caller said his company was Microsoft s own technical company, calling me as a Windows user to check on "inflictions" on my computer. He wanted me to press Ctrl + R while he was on the phone to me. I didn t in case this gave him access to my computer. When I asked, he gave his address as 21 Sandown Lane, Liverpool, L15 8HY, which is listed as a place where you can rent office space. I couldn t catch his forename (he had a strong Indian accent).
