I ve reported it to http://www.actionfraud.police.uk/report-a-fraud/how-to-report-a-fraud and suggest others do the same. When pressed, they gave me the name of a firm of solicitors which doesn t exist. The phone number appears to be a spoofed caller ID. Don t give them your bank details when and if they call you to tell you they ve got your compensation waiting to be sent to you!

from Carphone warehouse wanting to tell me about an offer for the iPhone 12. Strong South Asian accent. When I asked why they had my number he said something about wanting to give me an offer and hung up. Suspicious as if it were really Carphone warehouse they wouldn’t hang up seemingly angrily like that.
