Scam caller about national insurance number fraud hang up and block the number.

0013125082271 called with prerecorded general message that my Amazon Prime Account has been renewed for £79, but if I wanted to cancel it to press #1 or to ask any questions to press #2 so I could speak with the scammer. This is a regular call I receive, but first time from this number. I don't have an Amazon Prime Account and that is why they use this method as they hope I will press #1 or, a new twist, #2. Obviously, Amazon would not make such a call.

Automated voice said they were ringing from HMRC. I cut phone mid-sentence as known scam. HMRC don t call people. Scammers known to state that you re going to be fined...
Apparently I have a tax fraud case registered against me with HMRC and if I didn't press 1 now to speak to me case handler I would be arrested shortly - I'm still waiting to be arrested.

Telemarketers, usual nonsense, I suggest you just cut the call if answered by mistake, block them on the mobile or landline handset if you are able, if you do talk to them then of course ask for your details to be removed etc... Do not behave like the quarter wit above, screaming and shouting at them, it just makes you look like a complete and utter fool and an idiot and in truth there is no reason to behave in such a way, it acheives nothing in terms of getting you out of their database. As annoying
