SCAM My wife had a missed call on her mobile this morning from this mobile number. The caller left a recorded message saying: "Press 1 to connect to the concerned office or otherwise you will not be able to use your National Insurance Number any more". She did not call back as we suspected this was a scam - probably involving connection to a premium rate number.
Scam 2 different men rang 3 times on the same day to speak to a member of our family, who no longer lives with us. Would not give a proper company name, only that it was insurance company “Couldn’t” give company phone no out, but I could see it on my phone Told them repeatedly that they should not be telling me what was supposedly “bought”. Have had daily calls from this number since May. Asking about recent accident. What alarmed me is the details they ve got (albeit slightly wrong) they asked about my crashing a Suzuki in 2004 (it was a 2004 reg bike but crash was this year) and about a car crash in Dec 2012 (which I also had). I wasn t sure how they could have such details as car and bike insurances are different, MCE don t know about car crash, ASDA don t know about bike crash that just happened....then I realised, both policies are underw
