SCAM I had a scam call claiming to be from Carphone Warehouse (020 3786 2238 - also being reported as a scam number) and asked for a number to call back on, they gave me this number. They tried to sell me a phone upgrade.
I have been called by this number two or three times everyday in the past three days. All calls were silent and cut off after a few seconds.

SCAM / SPAM Somebody from Tel 01914265602 called me at 11:11 hours this morning. When I answered nobody would respond to me. I find calls of this nature both intimidating and vexatious. The authorities should simply delete all numbers operating in this fashion in order to protect the public generally and in particular to protect those who are vulnerable, ageing and/or in poor health.
Not sure it was this number, as we don't have caller ID. But had numerous calls from Asian Trader Magazine wanting to now my mothers maiden name, my primary school. 4 times they have rung now a different person each time. Trying to gain as much information about me as possible. Probably building a data profile on me to scam me.

Every day at work I get called by this electronic message. Very believable message regarding pension. Very glad for this site to confirm it is not something important. Had my suspicions in the first place but good to have confirmation

SCAM!! SCAM!! SCAM!! PRETEND TO BE FROM YOUR ENERGY COMPANY WITH YOUR ADDRESS AND NAME!! Then say they need a number from your INVOICE!! THIS IS TO SWITCH YOU OVER AND TAKE YOUR MONEY!! I asked to speak to management and the name of manager made up a random name. I said that person does not work in your department- they got angry told me I was being cut off and hung up!! Rang my original provider theu said it was a common scam!!

Automated message. Supposedly Visa security department.
SCAM / SPAM Automated message, says they were from HMRC and that a case had been opened against me, I had to press 1 to confirm details, they said if I don't press 1 then police warrant will be put out for me. I didn't press anything and the phone hangs up after 30seconds ish.
