called randomly about a claim for a bump in a car accident. I have never been in a car accident and rarely even in a car! don t answer and don t phone back.

SCAM Automated call claimed to be HMRC and a case had been registered against me. Threatened that if I didn't press 1 to connect the call a warrant would be issued and I would "BE ARRESTED SHORTLY"
Repeated calls to my mobile which have been left unanswered and show as missed call . On the one occasion it was answered, I was offered a free electical assessment which I declined and asked that I would be taken off their call list
Number 01909 266903 Cold called me today! Said company called first choice, had I been in car accident.. They new my surname & had my home phone number which is ex-directory..further investigating of this number shows there from Worksop off Carlton road behind step toes junk shop
Claimed they got my number from a prize giving website I may have visited ages ago. It s a work number I don t give out. They are attempting to sell a service reclaiming PPI for loans/credit cards.

More to add to the entry above... I think he's a very clever robotic system as he doesn't quite react naturally to questions. I suspect it can also spoof the phone number that it's reportedly calling from as my phone has a couple of missed calls from very very similar numbers: 01305300352, 01305300289, 01305300287. It's obviously fishing for vulnerable targets.
