PPI call from 1st Call and kept on insisting they are based in Manchester (actually they are calling from South Africa), and was told that I was owed some sort of money from my bank. I have told these callers in no uncertain terms to remove my number from the database immediately, but was told that they didn t want to and they were going to call me everyday. Putting a block on this telephone would only make matters worse, as these PPI cold callers would go around the block and use a different number, as
