Called our TPS registered line. A long pause after we answered, probably due to a telemarketer s predictive dialler, then a woman repeatedly asked "are you Mr xxx?", then hung up when we asked what company she was working for. Same pattern as other criminals/scammers use.

These people do not identify themselves they suggest that your computer is causing problems on the internet. If you allow them in investigate your computer they will show you all the problems that your computer is supposedly causing. Then for a fee of around ?200 they will "clean" your computer. About six months later they will contact you again. Are these hackers?
