Man claiming to be from BT woke us up to check broadband signal. When asked he said he’s calling from London, yet tel. no. 01619895754 seems to be from Manchester. Not with BT so suspected it was a scam & told him so. He spoke in a strong Indian ascent with broken English. Despite being asked if it’s really this urgent as he’d woken us up. If they can t even give you their name very untrustworthy. They have called me a number of times lately with their automated message. Didn t ask for their service, don t want it and I am in Telephone Pref service too. :-(
