When I responded that I did not know the person asked for, the caller wanted me to give my name, address, date of birth, marriage status so that he could "verify that I was not the person he was demanding to speak to". Had a call from 01535272203 today and it was a standard scam about Amazon Prime thanking me for renewing (I don't have Prime). Looked up the number and it seems to be The George in Bradford's telephone number. I rang hiding my number and no reply. I have blocked it

A scam offering 40% off your O2 account. - I know it is a 100% scam as (a) I have had one of these calls before and (b) I ceased to be an O2 customer 4 years ago. Suspect someone hacked their site or an ex-employee has flogged their data to scammers. Foreign guy said he'd send a special code in a text/email but to not divulge it to anyone - probably because everyone gets the same and they don't want you to compare notes!

SCAM prerecorded message accusing of tax fraud. Sensing a scam I hung up before hearing more and went to search for who the number came from but found nothing.

Said it was from my bank and there was fraudulent activity on my account. Not true do not reply to this call.

Said he was called Jack from BT Business Head office and he could do me a better deal than by Local BT Business office. Jack, you seem to be the only person working for BT Business as you are the only person making these sales calls, for such a large business!!. I don't believe this is BT as you can see in other searches Jack seems to be the only person making these calls, probably to gain information about your business. He didn't get any from me. Possibly dangerous.
