SCAM Although I use Adblock Plus, some websites insist I turn this off and I'm guessing thanks to this my Firefox navigated to a bad page PRETENDING to be Windows Defender finding a Trojan (after the first click inside the browser window it maximises the browser making this look more realistic) and requiring me to call this very phone number. Caller pretending to be from Microsoft Technical saying that there were spurious transactions on my router. Got a bit angry when I didnt give the expected replies to his questions. Obviously fraudulent.
Text claiming to be from HSBC saying funds will be released to IKEA shortly - no account with HSBC so obviously scam/phishing - Text Message SCAM
Missed call
Who ever called on the Vodafone mobile number 07552467997 was very abusive using very foul language and were not prepared to give a name or other ID.
Phishing text saying from apple pay
1o searches so far (Dec 13 2022). I'm going for spam.
Very pushy guy would not listen at all, would not let me speak trying to sell phones and simply, wanted to know what phone I had. Never gave a company name, never gave me a chance to speak so vut him off. No clue if it was spam, scam etc but definitely worth avoiding!
