Michael from Windows Customer Service (having an asian accent) called to say that someone from foreign countries are using my computer to send emails in which I ask for money. I found this suspicious as my computer in brand new, purchased last month and has original Windows. Also, Windows don't know my mobile number. Got the same call like everyone else. As a trained insurance expert with 25 years experience, I asked them for the date of the accident (having not had an accident in the last 10 years) but they didn t know. I asked which company they were calling from and they said they were calling as they were my insurers. I asked them the name of the insurers and they hung up. I am sick and tired of dealing with claims brought by ambulance chasers such as this. Compensation culture at its finest.
