an automated american female voice stated that my IP address had been compromised , my internet would be disconnected in 24 hrs.If I wanted this fixed free of charge to press 1 to connect to a technician.Realising this was a scam I hung up ,checked with my internet provider who blocked the no on their network....

I answers then after a minute or so (I chuck the phone on the side on speaker) the line goes dead. No one speaks. Wish I had the opportunity to tell them to naff off!

Suspected scam. Auto voice suggested I faced bank charges of £600 and £1300 and that I should press 1 to confirm or question the charges. Needless to say I didn’t.
