We has an automated call from this number 01189668888 today claiming that our Amazon Prime subscription is about to expire. Don't understand how a taxi/minibus company would know this. We have never had an Amazon Prime account.
I told him I found his voice turned me on and that I wanted to arrange a date with him. I ve been waiting for his call but he hasn t called me back.

I am receiving calls to my mobile which appear to be automated almost every day from this number. There is a delay when i answer and then just a click. Never anyone to talk to.

My Mum got scammed with a company called World IT pro saying they worked with Microsoft. They actually remote installed remote tracking software so they could see all her computer activity and charged her £300 for 'five years protection' - I called and complained and said I thought it was a scam and they refunded it (or it looks like they have - the money hasn't come back into the bank yet). They refunded my mum on the basis of what I said - did not get her authority to talk to me - SCAM

Anon, Myrtle s comment is correct at that date. It is, or was, a technical help number for out of warranty BT phones. Bit cheeky of them to use a premium rate number, though.
Pain in the arse company I get lots of calls from them lots of the time they just ring a few rings then hang up ,when I get to answer they hang up
