explained i was receiving treatment from district nurse and not convenient to talk, they became threatening and abusive saying i had to talk to them or they were going to visit me ! i then hung up, bit they called twice more in the next 5 minutes, so i took phone off the hook

SCAM - caller hung up when call answered and I said "This call is being tracked ....... Other users state it is a HMRC scam

Claims they are vodafone looking to make my broadband bill "cheaper" but it is not vodafone, how they had my information regarding when my contract ends with them is nobodys business.. but sounded like they were trying to be vodafone, but are probably a broker looking to sign you up to whatever deal is good. Which can be ok sometimes, but not acting as if they are a team that know what contract you actually are on, giving all you info to some upstart company = not a good idea!
