I had a text last week from this number telling me there had been some suspicious activity on my PayPal account and asking for all my login and credit card details including the CVC. PayPal confirmed that no texts had been sent so I assume it was someone, possibly spoofing an innocent person's number, who thought I was stupid. Some people may fall for it though and lose a lot of money.
Called me today, but was already on my reject list.
