SCAM Said they were from National Crime Agency (automated message). The National Insurance scam. I pressed 1 and asked them to tell me my 9 yr old daughters NI number as she knew do much and she hung up.
My son answered the phone and passed it to me. A voice clearly stated who they were and that I was being recorded. I asked where they got my number from (as its a brand new line and I have not given it to anyone at all!)They said I was on there system as I was a customer of there s. I said I wasn t and they said I had bought an indosit washing machine. My washing machine is 8 years old and not and indosit!!! I kept saying where did you get my number from and an annoying English voice said I understand madam

Got a call from this number I tried to explain we have terminally ill person in house and needed phone lines clear ( my father has cancer) they just laughed and put phone down. After calling a further 9 times in 3 hours I asked to speak to a manager who came to phone and proceeded to laugh through my explanation and put phone down. I then blocked the number so they rang a further 10 times from international withheld and either blasted sirens or just laughed down phone .

Woman called us (despite being registered with TPS, for what it's worth). She did not identify herself or their company clearly, and fired a barrage of questions at us, despite our refusal to interact with her. She said she could not remove our number from their database as "she hadn't completed her interaction with us, so we'd just receive further calls!". Her tone was extremely aggressive.
SCAM / SPAM SMS perports to be from PayPal and contains a link to a website so you can update your "user terms" to avoid suspension. This is entirely fraudulent, do not open the link as you can check directly with PayPal using your usual bookmark, they are attempting to phish for your login details and credit card information.

They called me today about an industrial accident I had. I didn t. When I asked where they were calling from she said Plymouth. I live in Plymouth but judging by other comments, they were calling from Darlington. Asked her for name of company and she said Industrial Workers Office. I gave them an earful and hung up. Let s see if they call back.
