SCAM This number appears to the associated with Bank Payment scams because I nearly fell for one, Had an automated message stating from my bank say that they had identified to large debits against my account which were suspicious. When I replied that they were not mine, I was put through to this number and was answered by a man who gave his name as a Paul Butler and stated that he was a member on the bank fraud investigation team. I got suspicious when he told be that this call was confidential.

Asks last time speed test was done and if you have access to laptop/computer, and will go through with you to fix Internet speed. They lock you out of your laptop/computer have access to all your Internet banking details, card payments made etc. If you don't bank online , they tell you unless you pay them money, they won't reverse the block on laptop/computer.
