sound of talking in a foreign language in the background but no other communication (this was the fifth 07988 number to ring in 15 minutes on 17th June)

SCAM An automated phone call with the caller pretending to be from HMRC.
Safe number
This number called and went dead - called back they are Respondez in India calling on behalf of Survey and Save in Wolverhamton, they gave me the contact number for this business as 02036514838 as the only info they have BUT that just calls them back!!! I cannot find Survey and Save anywhere.

This number phones regularly.I never answer it as I brlieve it is either a ppi or car insurance or pension scam.They are an absolute pest and embarrassmenent.They need stopping...

I rang it back after several calls and then checked name on gov.UK where it says its a solicitor and company was dissolved in 2010. Its owned by a Pakistani man.

SCAM criminals warning to scam you and take your money
These people continually called after they had been asked to remove my number. I looked up their directors names and addresses at companies house : Jamie Woollen / Andrew Thomas, called the 0800 number on their website 0800 98 78 999 to tell them that unless the calls stopped I would contact the directors at home in the evening to discuss. The guy in charge of the database is Ross Neeson
