Called me (my company number). Started by saying could they speak to me by name. A bubbly woman wanting to arrange for one of their advisers representing the HMRC to give me a call back regarding claiming back R & D funding from the government and did I know anything about it, tried to put her off but most persistent then asking me for my Companies details at Companies House couldn’t get her off the phone told her I had a meeting and had to go. i have received calls from this number claiming to be from amazon to inform me a payment of £399.99 has been made from my account. contacted amazon who confirmed no payments had been made.
rang 1471 to identify the caller, who would not tell me who they were.
