What a giant surprise, a mid afternoon silent call from a spoofed number, that'd never be a scam now , would it?

was called, supposedly, from HMRC and that I am about being accused for tax fraud and to press 1 to talk to an agent, otherwise I'd be arrested. Upon pressing 1 it directed me to a call centre where the accent of the recorded voice switched from British to American. Hung up right away
