SCAM Fraud Call received this afternoon. Robot American accented voice started saying "Her Majesty's Revenue & Customs has received a returned letter" - just hung up straight away.
Kept getting calls from from various numbers but with the area code 01233 (Ashford). I answered a few of them and when I did they just hung up.
Automated call when answered phone goes dead a flaming nuisance call.
I phoned the number back. It s a bunch of Indian scammers pretending to be HMRC. Very similar to the IRS scam in the US you see on youtube.
